The Lynden URC is part of Classis Pacific Northwest. A classis (plural: classes) is a regional assembly of federated churches that meets to seek one another’s advice on matters of common interest. Classes do not govern the churches; however, member churches respect their decisions unless those decisions contradict the Bible or the Church Order.
